Peru's Permanent Representative to the Organization of American States (OAS) Ana Rosa Valdivieso promoted the implementation of the Lima Commitment "Democratic Governance against Corruption."
Furthermore,
Valdivieso pointed out the importance of the 57 mandates' implementation process aimed at achieving said goals.
She went on to add this is reflected on Lima Commitment's specific mandates.
They are aimed at promoting good practices, seeking synergies with other international and regional anti-corruption organizations, as well as assessing anti-corruption
policies, among others.
Remarks were made during the 31st Meeting of the MESICIC held in Washington D.C. on September 10-13.
