Peru: President participates in working meeting with regional governors

The President of the Republic Pedro Castillo, alongside State ministers, on Saturday participated in the working meeting "Strengthening the intergovernmental articulation within a decentralization framework."

The event was organized by the National Assembly of Regional Governments (ANGR).

In this sense, ANGR Chairman Carlos Rua welcomed the top official and expressed his gratitude for the opportunity to hold a meeting between regional governors and the Executive Branch.

Likewise, Rua mentioned that, in previous talks, they were able to address in detail the decentralization agenda.

It should be noted that President Castillo participated in said working meeting on May 18.

Comptroller General Nelson Shack was also present in today's event.
