At this event, key measures for the country's development were approved.
The measures focus on territorial management, economic growth, national security, environmental protection, and safeguarding the State's interests, the Presidential Office reported on X.
Among the main agreements reached, an external indebtedness with the International Fund for Agricultural Development (IFAD) was authorized to boost the farming sector.
The Cabinet also approved the National Potable Water and Sanitation Policy through 2050, aimed at ensuring quality basic services.
"Likewise, the state of emergency was extended in several districts of Cajamarca to maintain internal order, the 'Aguas Calientes Maquia' and 'Chontabamba Huancabamba' Regional Conservation Areas were created, and a report was received on the progress of Peru's accession process to the Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD), among other agreements," the Presidential Office detailed.
