FA Min meets with U.S. entrepreneurs, provides details of Peru's macroeconomic potential

Foreign Affairs Minister Ana Cecilia Gervasi on Tuesday met with U.S. entrepreneurs to inform them of the situation in Peru and the advantages that the country offers.

The government official led a meeting with members of the Chamber of Commerce of the United States, one of the world's largest business organizations.

During the event, which took place in Washington D.C., Gervasi spoke about the political and social situation in the country.

Likewise, the minister highlighted the features of the Peruvian macroeconomic framework and the strengths of the country's economy.

Various sectors

The entrepreneurs participating in the meeting represent multinational companies operating in various sectors and activities. Among them are companies involved in the mining, finance, technology, and health sectors, among others.

According to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, those who hold investments in the country reaffirmed their confidence in it and stressed the importance of continuing to promote trade and investment.

Meeting with U.S. representatives

Likewise, the Peruvian government official met with representatives of the Democratic Party of the United States.

At the meeting, the minister discussed and responded to the concerns of the U.S. representatives about the current socio-political situation in Peru.

The meeting saw the participation of Bill Pascrell Jr., Jim Himes, and Vicente Gonzalez.

According to the government agency, during the meeting, the U.S. congressmen expressed their support for Peruvian democracy.
