The Peru Mucho Gusto Lima 2025 fair, reached 270,000 visitors, far exceeding the initial projection of 180,000 attendees and thus became as the most popular and representative gastronomic Peruvian festival, highlighted the Ministry of Foreign Trade and Tourism (Mincetur).

During the four-day fair, Peru Mucho Gusto Lima 2025 organized by the Commission for the Promotion of Peru for Export and Tourism (Promperu), was held on the esplanade of the Costa Verde in Magdalena del Mar, receiving more than 5,300 international visitors from Chile, Ecuador, the United States, and other countries.

This huge foreign participation reflects the growing international appeal of Peruvian gastronomy as a symbol of identity and a driver of sustainable tourism.

During the event, 187 exhibitors from all 25 regions of the country offered a culinary journey that integrated tradition, innovation, and sustainability.

The areas dedicated to Peruvian Coffee and Pisco, "Spirit of Peru," along with the participation of pisco and coffee companies that received the Peru Brand License, reaffirmed the value of our sectoral brands and their contribution to positioning the country in global markets.

International media coverage

Journalists from the United States, Canada, Panama, Ecuador, Chile, Colombia, Brazil, and Mexico—including The New York Times, Forbes Central America, and Chilean National Television—highlighted the magnitude of the festival and its contribution to projecting Peru as the gastronomic capital of Latin America.

Focusing on sustainability, inclusion, and the revitalization of gastronomic identity, the fair implemented an eco-friendly model with recycling areas, accessible signage, educational workshops, and the Sustainable World space, promoting responsible and accessible practices for all audiences.

During the closing ceremony, Promperu, an agency attached to the Ministry of Foreign Trade and Tourism (Mincetur), announced that the next international edition of Peru Mucho Gusto will be held in São Paulo, Brazil, from December 5 to 7, 2025, marking a new step in the international projection of Peruvian gastronomy.
