British Ambassador to Peru Kate Harrisson on Saturday affirmed that more than 50 British companies specialized in qualification, design, and implementation of projects are interested in Peru's education and health sectors.
Harrisson's remarks were made in a virtual conference that explored the British experience in health and education projects —organized by the Construction and Engineering Guild of the Lima Chamber of Commerce (CCL) and the British Peruvian Chamber of Commerce.
"We know this is not an easy task —especially due to the pandemic we are facing— but the technology and management mechanisms currently in place are extremely helpful to meet the execution deadlines and, if a difficulty arises, it is overcome," she stated.
According to the British Ambassador, interested companies will bring technology, experience in design and management, as well as innovative solutions to various needs in the implementation of hospitals and schools.
