The
on Friday urged authorities to work in the broadest unity so as to achieve development in Peru.
"Here are your governors and mayors (are) in your districts; I want to work in the broadest unity, with Peru of all bloods; (let's) work and strengthen the homeland’s development, and thus go down in history as the first woman president that solved what in 30 years couldn't (be solved)," Mrs. Boluarte expressed.
Within this framework, the Head of State indicated that what was worked on during the two-day event constitutes the start of "that precise approach," which is intended to be implemented in each region, because "one cannot continue walking with disdain but rather do what is necessary."
The top official announced that this new dialogue and coordination mechanism will meet again in the first week of August so as to assess the progress of the commitments assumed by various Peruvian regions.
"We will meet again meet during the first week of August so that we can assess all progress made this way; on a certain date, we are going to work and set in motion what we agreed on," she added.
The President thanked each regional governor for wanting to resolve the requests from their peoples "hand-in-hand with the Executive Branch."
"You are new authorities, and we are not going to disappoint the trust that people had placed in you through their vote; following this Regional State Council, we are not going to disappoint anyone, as we are sending a message of hope and confidence so that people can trust authorities once again," she specified.
Furthermore, Head of State called on State ministers not to delay the procedures for public works to be executed in regions and to meet with regional governors whenever they request so.
