The
inaugurated the Regional State Council on Thursday morning.
According to the Presidential Office Strategic Communication and Press Secretariat, the event takes place at Lima Convention Center.
The Regional State Council will enable the Executive Branch to listen to regional governments' perspective concerning domestic issues and bring attention to the unlocking of projects.
At this body, setting up bilateral working groups is expected so that each regional government can meet with Executive Branch sectors and receive assistance in order to move relevant public works forward.
The two-day event will come to an end at the Government Palace in Lima on Friday.
