Peru concluded their pool campaign with a 2-0 win-loss ratio while the hosts of the 2013 FIVB Women’s U20 World Champs drop to 1-2.
"We are looking forward to challenge the teams from the other pools," Peru coach Natalia Malaga Dibos was quoted as saying on FIVB.org.

This morning we prepared a tactic that worked. Our level of play is still improving. We are looking forward to challenge the teams from the other pools, she said.

Meanwhile, Peru captain Ginna Lopez said: Today we managed to maintain a good level of passing. Thanks to the cooperation with the setter, we set up a solid game. We are very happy with that win.

On the other hand, Czech Republic coach Ondrej Marek said: We were well prepared, but committed too many errors. Peru played much more stable. Anyway, the show must go on.

We offered the match to our opponents. We made many mistakes. We are sorry for our fans. They tried everything to help us but we could not benefit from it, Czech Republic captain Lucie Herbockova added.
