The Ministry of Foreign Affairs has reported that seven Peruvians residing in Israel boarded a Colombian Air Force humanitarian flight from Tel Aviv heading to Bogota.

This was possible thanks to the arrangements made by the Peruvian consular office in Tel Aviv with the Colombian Government.

Similarly, the Peruvian ministry affirmed that the Consulate in Bogota will provide all the necessary assistance to our compatriots for their subsequent trip to Peru.

According to Peruvian Foreign Affairs Minister Ana Cecilia Gervasi, the Government assisted 269 compatriots until October 23 for their evacuation from Israel due to the situation in the Middle East.

Likewise, the diplomat indicated that there are no Peruvians stranded in that country to date.

She added that our embassy is providing assistance to groups of resident Peruvian-Israeli citizens who have expressed their wish to be evacuated.
