The President of the Republic Dina Boluarte on Tuesday reiterated her commitment to promoting joint actions within her administration to consolidate a justice system that meets the expectations of all Peruvians.

Thus, the Head of State expressed her willingness to support the strengthening of said institution's efforts, so that its results are focused on the well-being of citizens.

The dignitary also affirmed that her administration will redouble efforts to guarantee legal stability and clear rules for national and foreign investment.

"Peru must be a serious country with social, stable, and predictable peace," she told attendees.

Moreover, Mrs. Boluarte reminded citizens that, in order to build social peace, a broad dialogue has been started with all sectors, without exception, with the aim of reaching consensus on priority and urgent issues.

In addition, the President of the Republic reiterated her commitment to continue working to guarantee an orderly and peaceful transition, where dialogue, good sense, peace, and understanding prevail.

In this sense, she referred to a transition in which the needs of the population —especially the most vulnerable— can be met together and a State reform agenda can be proposed so as to improve services provided to citizens.

Fair justice for all

In the same way, the country's top official stressed that Peruvians aspire to have a justice that protects everyone — regardless of their origin and condition— that investigates and punishes corruption, that is impartial and swift, and that protects the most vulnerable sectors.

"We also want a judicial system that protects the rule of law, constitutional order, and democracy —one that can stand up firmly and resolutely," she expressed.

The Head of State noted that justice must be above individual and partisan interests, by establishing itself as a State policy that transcends authorities and governments.

Likewise, she stressed the need to move forward with the implementation of the Electronic Judicial File, adding that this will allow the administration of justice to be prompt and timely.

Finally, the Peruvian President wished the new Judiciary Chair success in guaranteeing and providing timely and effective justice.

Lastly, she expressed full respect for the separation and independence of powers, which she described as a fundamental pillar of the democratic system.
