The Executive Branch has appointed the members of the Presidential Office Advisory Commission through a supreme resolution published in the Legal Regulations section of the Official Gazette El Peruano.
The commission was established as an advisory body of the Presidential Office, which is at the disposal of the Presidency of the Republic to issue opinions on matters submitted for its consideration.
Accordingly, Clemente Jaime Yoshiyama Tanaka, Arsenio Ore Guardia, Jose Chlimper Ackerman, Josefina Takahashi Sato, and Milagros Alvarez Calderon Larco were appointed.
It also specifies that membership in the Presidential Office Advisory Commission is honorary and constitutes a position of trust. It does not establish an employment relationship.
It also states that this measure is in accordance with the provisions of the Political Constitution of Peru, the Executive Branch Organic Law, and the supreme decree amending Section One of the Presidential Office's Organization and Functions Regulation (ROF).
The supreme resolution is endorsed by the President of the Republic, Keiko Fujimori, and Prime Minister Luis Galarreta.
