Peru: Funerary platform with 38 high-status individuals uncovered at Chan ChanThe impressive discovery of an almost intact funerary platform at the Chan Chan archaeological complex in the northern city of Trujillo marks a milestone in Peru's archaeological history. The platform contained the remains of 38 high-status individuals, along with their respective grave goods and artifacts that had remained hidden for more than 600 years.10:33
