IMF raises Peru's growth forecast from 2.8% to 2.9% for 2025

The International Monetary Fund (IMF) has slightly raised its GDP growth outlook for the Peruvian economy from 2.8% to 2.9% for this year, keeping it above the South American average of 2.7%.

Peru's President: We have declared war on crime

President Jose Jeri on Tuesday told Lima Metropolitan Area mayors that his administration has declared war on crime, noting that this is one of the main reasons he called them to the Government Palace this morning.
