As part of her official visit to El Salvador, the President of the Republic of Peru, Keiko Fujimori, is visiting the Marcelino García Flamenco School—located in Santa Tecla—this Friday. The visit aims to explore the Salvadoran experience regarding the modernization of school infrastructure and the improvement of educational quality.
The President is holding a working meeting with El Salvador’s Minister of Education, Science, and Technology, Karla Trigueros.
During the meeting, they are discussing key reforms spearheaded by El Salvador, with a particular focus on school infrastructure, the strengthening of student learning, and the integration of technology—specifically artificial intelligence.

Additionally, the President—accompanied by the Vice Minister of Pedagogical Management, Miriam Ponce, and the Director of the National Program for Educational Infrastructure (Pronied), Pedro Morales—will tour the school’s facilities.
The institution was reopened in May of this year as part of the government’s “Two Schools Per Day” program and features renovated classrooms, laboratories, technological equipment, and spaces dedicated to artistic and recreational activities.
