President of Peru joins tribute to Lord of Miracles

The President of the Republic Dina Boluarte on Wednesday took part in a tribute to the Lord of Miracles, who embarked on a second processional journey.

The activity took place in front of the Government Palace located in the Peruvian capital, Lima. 

The Head of State walked out through the main entrance to the Courtyard of Honor joined by a group of State ministers.

She was accompanied by Minister Albina Ruiz (Environment), Miriam Ponce (Eduation), Jorge Chavez (Defense), Vicente Romero (Interior), Ana Maria Choquehuanca (Production), Cesar Vasquez (Health), and Julio Demartini (Development and Social Inclusion).

During the ceremony, the dignitary handed over various flower arrangements, which were placed on the platform carrying the mural of the Lord of the Miracles, as well as various altar and memory candles.

In addition, the Lord of Miracles received a tribute from the Mariscal Domingo Nieto (Marshall Domingo Nieto) Cavalry Regiment Escort.

At the request of media outlets, President Boluarte revealed that she appealed for peace in the country.

"I asked him (the Lord of Miracles) to let us remain united in our faith in Jesus Christ and to provide development for all Peruvians," she remarked.
