The President of the Republic, Jose Jeri, emphasized that the government is opening a new phase of action and coordination with the country's various sectors and social stakeholders.

During a working meeting with leaders of the Regional Association of Indigenous Peoples (ARPI), the Head of State said that this marks a new phase.

The top official explained that it entails a higher level of dialogue and engagement to move forward in addressing their main concerns and urgent needs.

He stressed that the Government Palace doors will always remain open to listen and, in a coordinated manner, chart solution-oriented alternatives to the problems that still need to be addressed.

Previously, the President held talks with young leaders attending the 9th Metropolitan Student Congress, pledging to maintain ongoing coordination to address their expectations and proposals.

The students, who represent educational institutions across Metropolitan Lima, agreed on the importance of ensuring that authorities are aware of their key concerns, including public safety and improved education.

President Jeri thanked the student leaders for their presence, underscoring the importance of promoting and sustaining these spaces for dialogue.

The top official also met with representatives of the Callao Port Federation and Congresswoman Auristela Obando to discuss the needs of workers at the Port of Callao.

These events took place on Monday.
