Keiko Fujimori (Popular Force Party) and Roberto Sanchez (Together for Peru Party) took part on Sunday evening in the presidential debate organized by the National Elections Board (JNE) ahead of the June 7 runoff election.

The event began a few minutes behind schedule, shortly after 8:00 p.m., at the Lima Convention Center and lasted just over two hours.

Fujimori and Sanchez debated their government proposals across four thematic blocks:

- Citizen Security
- Strengthening of the Democratic State and Human Rights
- Education and Health
- Economy, Employment, and Poverty Reduction

The presidential debate began with an address by candidate Sanchez, while candidate Fujimori delivered the closing remarks.

The event was broadcast on the JNE Media channel and through the Board's official social media platforms.

The event formed part of the official activities scheduled for the 2026 General Elections runoff and will allow voters to learn about both candidates' proposals ahead of Election Day on June 7.
