Peru: President visits Andean Community headquarters

The President of the Republic Pedro Castillo on Friday toured the Andean Community (CAN) facilities —prior to the XXII Andean Presidential Council to be held on August 29.



On Monday, Ecuador will give an account of the integration process across this region and transfer the Pro-Tempore Presidency to Peru.

The upcoming event will also see the presence of the Presidents of Bolivia Luis Arce; Colombia Gustavo Petro; and Ecuador Guillermo Lasso.

It will take place during the XXII Andean Presidential Council to be held at the CAN General Secretariat headquarters in the Peruvian capital, Lima.

Created in 1969, the CAN is an integration mechanism made up of Bolivia, Colombia, Ecuador, and Peru.
