The
President of the Republic Dina Boluarte Zegarra on Sunday afternoon administered the oath of office to four new State Ministers who will lead the following sectors: Justice-Human Rights, Education, Labor-Employment Promotion, and Foreign Trade-Trouism.
First, the Head of State swore in Daniel Maurate, who will serve as Minister of Justice and Human Rights. Therefore, he replaces outgoing Jose Tello in the post.
Afterwards, the top official administered the oath of office to Magnet Marquez, who has become Minister of Education. Thus, he replaces Oscar Becerra.
On the other hand, President Boluarte swore in Antonio Varela, who will serve as Minister of Labor and Employment Promotion. The new minister will replace outgoing Luis Adrianzen.
Finally, the country's top official administered the oath of office to Juan Carlos Mathews to serve as Minister of Foreign Trade and Tourism. He will replace Luis Helguero in the post.
Today's event took place at the Government Palace in Lima.
