The
President of the Republic Dina Boluarte on Wednesday participated in the ceremony to present the Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation (APEC) Forum venues in Peru for 2024.
This event took place at the Government Palace in the Peruvian capital, Lima.
Next year, Peru will hold the APEC Presidency. Thus, it will host the summit of the 21 economies that comprise it.
The
APEC is made up of Australia, Brunei Darussalam, Canada, Chile, the People's Republic of China, Hong Kong, Indonesia, Japan, Malaysia, Mexico, New Zealand, Papua New Guinea, Peru, the Philippines, Russia, Singapore, Korea, Chinese Taipei, Thailand, United States, and Vietnam.
As is known, Peru hosted the APEC Forum in 2008 and 2016.
