Peru: PCM, Ministries honor national symbols with National Flag hoisting

Various authorities and public servants took part Monday morning in the National Flag hoisting and National Anthem singing, as part of activities aimed at strengthening identity, civic values, and commitment to the country.

At the Lima-based Government Palace, Presidency of the Council of Ministers (PCM) Secretary General Juan Falconi led the ceremony alongside authorities and public servants from the PCM and the Executive Branch, underscoring the importance of honoring national symbols.


From Torre Tagle Palace, also in Lima, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs reaffirmed its commitment to serving Peru and projecting the nation with identity, pride, and a forward-looking vision during the National Flag hoisting ceremony.


The Ministry of Education held the ceremony at its headquarters.

It saw the participation of students from Educational Institution No. 6049 Ricardo Palma, who accompanied the event with a musical band and a Marinera performance, highlighting cultural diversity and a commitment to quality education.


At the Ministry of Economy and Finance (MEF), the deputy ministers of Finance and Economy led the ceremonial event, reaffirming civic values and commitment to the country.


These simultaneous ceremonies reflect the commitment of public institutions to national identity, civic values, and patriotic principles.
