President Martin Vizcarra affirmed the Inca country has won by embracing
"Peru has won (…). We have a lot of work to do aimed at bringing well-being to all Peruvians," the Head of State expressed.
"The task is huge, but we have the strength and everyone's commitment to put Peru first," he said via Twitter.
Likewise, the top official expressed his gratitude to Peruvians for massively going to the polls to make a decision on the four constitutional reforms submitted by the Executive to Congress.
Furthermore, he indicated this popular vote represents the beginning of a change his administration and the
Council of Ministers have been boosting for the benefit of Peru.
President Vizcarra also reaffirmed his commitment to improving the well-being of the Inca country's citizens.
"There is much to do, this is the first step. For that reason, I ask everyone to give their all with the purpose of achieving the change we hope for," he concluded.
They were proposed by the Executive Branch and subsequently approved by Congress.
Last July, the release of audios containing phone conversations that involved judges, entrepreneurs, and CNM members led to a scandal in the justice system.
Therefore, the Vizcarra administration intends to implement a positive change in Peru with these reforms.
