19:03 | Lima, Jan. 8.

TV Peru Noticias (a television news program broadcast by State-run channel TV Peru) includes segments in indigenous languages as part of its commitment to multiculturalism and inclusion.

The aim is to meet the informative needs of Quechua and Aymara speakers across the Inca country.

The anchors are Clodomiro Landeo, Walter Escobar, Nilthon Pari, and Yessica Aedo, who take turns to host the three editions of the show.

With this, TV Peru intends to improve the informative content of its news segments.

According to State-run National Institute of Radio and Television of Peru (IRTP), the idea is to reach wider audiences and keep all citizens informed.
