Peru: President Boluarte meets with Cusco journalists' guild

The President of the Republic Dina Boluarte meets with the Board of Directors of the National Confederation of Radio and Television in Cusco -CNRTV of Local Media.

The Head of State has met with Peruvian journalist guilds in recent days.

Within this framework, the top official received members of the Peruvian Press Council and the Journalists' Association of Peru and Lima at the Government Palace.

Furthermore, the President received civil society organizations at the Executive Branch headquarters.

The Head of State also reaffirmed her commitment to the fight against corruption by convening an extraordinary session of the High-Level Anti-Corruption Commission (CAN).

As is known, Mrs. Boluarte officially became President of the Republic on December 7 after

ex-President Pedro Castillo was constitutionally impeached and removed from office by Parliament.
