Peru's President holds meeting with members of journalists' associations

The President of the Republic Dina Boluarte on Tuesday met with representatives of journalists' associations.

The meeting took place at the Government Palace in the Peruvian capital, Lima.

Starting at 10:00 a.m. (local time), the Head of State met with members of the Board of Directors of the Peruvian Press Council (CPP).

Likewise, Mrs. Boluarte is also slated to meet with members of the National Board of Directors and Regional Deans of the Journalists' Association of Peru.

The country's top official has given various interviews to the media as part of the Government's approach to journalists following her constitutional assumption of the Presidency of the Republic.
