The President of the Republic Dina Boluarte on Wednesday led an extraordinary session of the High-Level Anti-Corruption Commission (CAN).

This meeting took place at the Government Palace in the Peruvian capital, Lima.

Prime Minister Alberto Otarola, Congress Chairman Jose Williams Zapata, Judiciary Chairwoman Elvia Barrios, State ministers, and other authorities also participated in the event.

National Justice Board (JNJ) Chairman Jose Avila began the session in his capacity as president of the CAN.

He affirmed that the session's objective was to work on a minimum agenda for the fight against corruption so that it can be submitted to the Executive Branch and implemented by the latter.

"We summon all of you to get to know your points of view, comments, and proposals for improvement," Avila said.
