The President of the Republic Dina Boluarte inaugurated the sixth Escuela Bicentenario I.E. 6094 Santa Rosa (6094 Saint Rose Bicentennial School) in Lima's Chorrillos district on Wednesday.

It will host more than 2,000 primary and secondary school students.

Bicentennial School is the first special public investment project in Peru's education sector.

It involves executing 75 educational infrastructure projects, entailing a total investment worth more than S/5.9 billion (over US$1.583 billion) for the benefit of 118,000 students in nine regions and 21 Metropolitan Lima districts.

These educational centers are part of the group of 31 bicentennial schools that will be delivered this year.
Inaugurating another 44 institutions is planned for 2025.

The Bicentennial School project is carried out with specialized technical assistance within the framework of government-to-government agreements with the United Kingdom and Finland, as strategic partners, which allows international practices for innovation, efficiency, and integrity of processes.
