In Surquillo, the president toured the police station located on San Diego Avenue, which suffered damage to its infrastructure after its roof collapsed.
Together with Mayor Cintia Loayza Alvarez, he verified the conditions of the premises and inspected a state-owned property that could be used to relocate the police headquarters and build a comprehensive citizen security complex.

During the tour, the head of state stated that the government will support all initiatives that strengthen the fight against crime, in coordination with the municipalities.
"We are committed to improving the response capacity of the National Police and the security forces. A safe country is built with planning," he stated.
Mayor Loayza presented the possibility of utilizing a building located on Paseo de la Republica Avenue and Ricardo Palma, which could be converted into a citizen security center for Surquillo and surrounding districts.
The president verified the viability of the proposal and described it as a modern alternative that would strengthen collaborative work between local authorities and law enforcement.
Another proposal was the construction of a municipal and citizen security building at the intersection of Tomas Marsano and Angamos Avenues.

Later, the head of state traveled to the Lince district, where he inspected the local police station and spoke with officers about patrols, enforcement operations, and the main crimes affecting the district, including micro-drug dealing, clandestine prostitution, and extortion in commercial areas.
"Security is not imposed solely through sanctions, but through constant presence and coordination between all levels of government. We will continue to be on the streets, listening and acting," emphasized President Jeri.
The president recognized the work of the police officers and the district's Security Forces, who reported on preventive patrols, identity checks on public transportation, and joint interventions with the National Superintendency of Immigration to verify the legal status of individuals stopped in high-risk areas.
Finally, President Jose Jeri reiterated that the transitional government and national reconciliation will maintain its policy of constant supervision and coordinated work, within the framework of the state of emergency imposed for Metropolitan Lima and Callao.
