16:24 | Lima, Jul. 8.

Economic growth must go hand-in-hand with social development, so the economic benefits can reach all sectors of society, Peruvian Development and Social Inclusion Minister Paola Bustamante affirmed.

Likewise, the cabinet member noted the importance of the Pacific Alliance —composed of Peru, Chile, Colombia, and Mexico— and indicated that achieving the social development of its member states is also a goal.

Furthermore, the minister noted the National Government —through her portfolio— currently opts for Early Child Development via the territorial management mechanism.

Moreover, she highlighted the importance of regional communities in decentralization and development processes.

Lastly, the official underlined this gathering is a space that enables each nation to learn from other members' experiences in terms of growth and development

Remarks were made during the 2nd Pacific Alliance Regional Governors Meeting held last week in Lima.

On the occasion, she was joined by Ministers Flor Pablo (Education) and Sylvia Caceres (Labor and Employment), as well as National Assembly of Regional Governments (ANGR) head and Cajamarca Region Governor Mesias Guevara.
