President Trump announces Bernie Navarro as new U.S. Ambassador to Peru

President Donald Trump announced that Bernie Navarro will be the new United States Ambassador to Peru, a position that had been vacant.

"I am pleased to announce that Bernie Navarro will serve as the next Ambassador to the Republic of Peru. Bernie is a Highly Respected Leader in Real Estate Finance and Economic Recovery," Mr. Trump stated through the social media platform Truth on Thursday evening.

Furthermore, the U.S. President highlighted the skills and professional experience of the person who will be the new head of the diplomatic mission in our country, succeeding Stephanie Syptak-Ramnath.

In that regard, Mr. Trump emphasized that the future ambassador "is also passionate about education," having served as Chairman of the Board of Trustees at Miami Dade College, the largest such institution in the U.S.  

Regarding his academic background, he mentioned that Navarro holds a Degree in International Finance from the University of Miami and a Graduate Degree in Government from Harvard University. 

"Bernie's expertise in Finance, Trade, Education, and U.S.-Peru Relations will help him be a strong advocate for America’s Interests in Peru. Congratulations, Bernie!" the post concluded.
