on Wednesday bid farewell to the host country and announced the return to her homeland as part of a standard procedure for ambassadorial appointments in a new administration.
"It has been an honor to serve in Peru and be part of the nearly 200 years of shared history between our nations," she expressed in Spanish language on social media.
The diplomat explained that, with the start of a new administration and as part of the standard procedure for ambassadorial appointments, it is her duty to return to the United States.
"Thank you from the bottom of my heart to the people of Peru," she wrote.
"I trust in the leadership of our Minister Counselor," she affirmed.
Stephanie Syptak-Ramnath presented her credentials to President Dina Boluarte on June 20, 2024, since which time she has performed diplomatic duties in the South American country.
