Around midnight yesterday, the President visited the Cusco Regional Government headquarters, where he held a meeting with regional and local authorities.

The meeting assessed the situation following the accident to ensure the continuity of response and follow-up actions in the face of the emergency.

Later, the President visited several clinics in the city to learn about the health status of those injured in the train accident.

During the tour, he received direct information from medical personnel about the care provided to patients, with the aim of verifying the proper delivery of health services and the timely attention given to those affected.
