The President of the Republic, Jose Maria Balcazar, said on Wednesday that his administration is working to ensure young people inherit a viable country where dialogue and understanding prevail in order to foster development.

The Head of State recalled that dialogue has always been pursued to find solutions throughout history.

In that regard, he emphasized that his working visit to Loreto region will help continue coordinating efforts aimed at promoting development through projects that the population has awaited for years.

"From now until July, before handing over power (to the next administration), we will return to Iquitos with new projects so the region can be incorporated into our national culture without fears," Balcazar indicated.

The top official made these remarks during the ceremony marking the awarding of the National Training Service for the Construction Industry (Sencico)–Housing, Construction, and Sanitation Ministry technical scholarships to Juntos (Together) program beneficiaries.

Beneficiaries will receive the course "Basic Electrical Installation Repairs," aimed at facilitating their entry into the labor market and the development of independent income-generating activities.

The training will be provided by Sencico, with specialized instruction and technical standards applied to the construction sector.

Visit to Pedro A. del Aguila Hidalgo Institute

As part of his extensive working agenda, the President also visited the IDEX–Institute of Excellence Pedro A. del Aguila Hidalgo facilities in Iquitos.

During this important visit, President Balcazar toured the automotive mechatronics and industrial production mechanics workshops.

There, he observed the work carried out by students as they learn to use these modern tools that support their training and education.

The equipment helps ensure adequate integration into the labor market.

Specifically, this institute implements the Excellence Model (IDEX) and develops skills in innovation, entrepreneurship, applied research, and technical English. It hosts 4,179 students and 178 teachers across seven study programs.

Human development based on the pillars of growth and social inclusion to improve regional competitiveness and productivity

The Executive Branch is fostering concrete actions for human development based on the pillars of growth and social inclusion to improve regional competitiveness and productivity.

The works currently being carried out in Loreto are aligned with government priorities and have economic continuity as their first pillar, through competitiveness and the modernization of Francisco Secada Airport.

In terms of productivity, the initiatives include rural electrification and access to services, as well as education for employment and industrial development.

Efforts are also being made to promote labor market integration for people with low levels of education, generating employability and income to improve their job and development opportunities.
