Peruvian singer Anna Carina Copello was nominated for Clarin Awards, in the category of best video of the year for her single “Ya fue demasiado”. She competes against Tokio Hotel, Calamaro, Paulina Rubio, Chayanne, among others.
Anna Carina learned about the nomination after coming back from Trujillo, where she lit the Christmas tree at Real Plaza mall.
“This nomination was truly a surprise. A few months ago, we sent the video to Argentinean channels, who told us about the great audience it had. Now, we’ve achieved this…I’m really happy that we’re growing in other markets,” said the most representative artist of Peruvian pop music.
This year, the video directed by Jorge Carmona premiered in different music video channels of Argentina such as MTVLA, captivating the young audience in this country.
The election of the winner in this category is subject to the votes of the audience in Latin America.
