As part of the launch of "Transformers: Rise of the Beasts," the Peruvian Commission for Promotion of Export and Tourism (PromPeru) has released a promotional video for the Chinese market, in which beautiful filming locations in the Peruvian regions of Cusco and San Martin can be seen.

Since its publication, the video has garnered more than 1.1 million views on the most popular social media platforms among Chinese Internet users such as WeChat, Weibo, and Douyin.

The video shows Machu Picchu, one of the most amazing New 7 Wonders of the World, in all its splendor.

In addition, Cusco's Main Square can be appreciated, along with dances and parades that take place every year as part of the Inti Raymi, a celebration that was recreated for the film.

"Transformers: Rise of the Beasts" also features Tarapoto, a city located in the Amazonian region of San Martin, as well as its lush vegetation and great biodiversity.

The most outstanding locations include Alto Shilcayo, Chazuta, Shapaja, and Ahuashiyacu —a 40-meter-high waterfall that flows into a 12-meter-diameter pool.

The seventh iteration of the Paramount Pictures franchise was released in China on June 9

The film was directed by Steven Caple Jr. and has grossed US$60 million at the Chinese box office so far.

Thus, "Transformers: Rise of the Beasts" became the second largest opening for a Hollywood film in the Asian country.
