Anthony Ramos and Dominique Fishback, stars of "Transformers: Rise of the Beasts," thanked Peru for its hospitality during the shooting of this seventh installment in the Transformers franchise in Cusco and San Martin regions and invited them to watch the movie in theaters.

"Peru, we had such a great time filming. Thank you for having us. We hope that you love the film, and go check it out in theaters," Dominique Fishback remarked.

For his part, Anthony Ramos said: "From the bottom of my heart, thanks to all of you for showing such incredible Peruvian destinations in Cusco and San Martin. So, see you in theaters for the premiere of 'Transformers: Rise of the Beasts."

In San Martin, the film was shot in Alto Shilcayo, La Union waterfalls, Ahuashiyacu waterfalls, and in the district of Shapaja.

On the other hand, among the locations featured in Cusco are the Imperial City's Main Square, the Inca citadel of Machu Picchu, the fortress of Sacsayhuaman, the archaeological site of Chinchero, and the Malaga Pass.

Fishback and Ramos, as well as director Steven Caple Jr., producer Lorenzo di Bonaventura, and several members of the main cast of the sci-fi movie, were given Peruvian handicrafts, with which they were delighted.

Just look at their expressions to realize that they were amazed by the 950 Peruvian silver necklace featuring the Autobots logo, decorated with a blue sodalite stone and a red spondylus shell.

In addition, they were delighted with the traditional retablos (small decorative wooden boxes displaying traditional scenes) from Ayacucho and Cusco given to them, which show the spirit and mysticism of Peru every time their small doors are opened.

The Peru Brand team brought these gifts to New York City, United States, in gratitude for showing the whole world the best of Peru and for them to carry Peru forever in their hearts.

The film premiered in Peru on June 7. "Transformers: Rise of the Beasts," which features Peru and its people as main characters, can be enjoyed in 2D and 3D, as well as special formats such as 4DX, MacroX screen, XD, Atmos.

The seventh iteration of the Paramount Pictures franchise was shot thanks to the constant support and backing of the Peruvian Commission for Promotion of Export and Tourism (PromPeru), through Film in Peru, which coordinated the corresponding filming permits with different government institutions to ensure an adequate experience.
