Peru's VP reaffirms commitment to successfully complete OECD accession process

The Vice-President of the Republic Dina Boluarte on Wednesday reaffirmed the Peruvian commitment to implement and successfully complete the roadmap, under which the process of accession to the Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD) will be framed.

The high-ranking official met with OECD Secretary-General Mathias Cormann at the World Economic Forum (WEF) Annual Meeting in Davos.

Likewise, the also Development and Social Inclusion Minister thanked Cormann for his support in the discussions leading to the invitation for Peru to start its process of joining this organization.

Furthermore, the meeting served to discuss priority issues and urgent actions to be implemented by the South American country in the short term.



Hours earlier, Foreign Affairs Minister Cesar Landa held a meeting with Ukrainian counterpart Dymitro Kuleba at the WEF.


The Peruvian delegation's participation at the WEF Annual meeting came to an end today.
