From the city of Huaraz on Wednesday, President Jose Jeri stated that the Executive Branch remains committed to working so that development reaches all Peruvian regions and families.

"As a government, we are committed to improving the living conditions of all Peruvians. There are many expectations; although we cannot meet them all, we will make every effort to close priority gaps," he stated after participating in a multisector public services fair.

At the site, the Head of State verified that the government has brought programs from the Ministries of Development and Social Inclusion (Midis), Agrarian Development and Irrigation (Midagri), among others, closer to the population, allowing for an improvement in the quality of life of those who need it most.

In that regard, the top official stated that Peru’s progress will be possible through coordinated work "among all authorities, both local and regional governments, Congress, and aiming in the same direction, regardless of our political positions."

Moreover, the Head of State visited the Pilot Unit for Criminal Flagrancy in Huaraz to learn about the actions carried out by the National Police of Peru (PNP), the Public Prosecutor’s Office, and the Judiciary in favor of citizens.

The President also arrived at the new facilities of Huaraz's Public Higher Pedagogical Institute, whose construction will entail an investment worth S/37.4 million (US$11.05 million).

On site, the Head of State expressed his commitment to carrying out the actions needed to expedite this project.
