Deputy Foreign Affairs Minister, Ambassador Felix Denegri, actively promoted investments, highlighting the concrete opportunities Peru offers for national development during his working visit to the Netherlands.

This action took place as part of the VI Political Consultations Mechanism Meeting, which he presided over at the Dutch Foreign Affairs Ministry headquarters.

Deputy Minister Denegri took part in a business forum organized by Invest International in collaboration with the Peruvian Embassy in the Netherlands.

Before Dutch companies and the Peruvian-Dutch Chamber of Commerce, Ambassador Denegri presented Peru's comparative advantages in high-potential sectors —infrastructure, agribusiness, clean energy, logistics, and services. These sectors create jobs, stimulate the economy, and directly benefit Peruvian families.

Strategic positioning

Afterwards, the government official gave a lecture on Peru's strategic positioning in the current geopolitical context at the
Institute of International Relations Clingendael.

In his presentation, the diplomat highlighted Peru as a reliable partner, respectful of international law, featuring an economy open to the world.

He also emphasized the priority of the Peruvian transitional government and national reconciliation in combating organized crime, including illegal mining, drug trafficking, and corruption—phenomena that affect public security and the rule of law.

Attended by academics, specialists, and members of the diplomatic community, the conference concluded with a panel discussion.

It allowed for a direct exchange on Peruvian foreign policy, regional integration, and the international cooperation mechanisms that contribute to inclusive and sustainable development.
