Peru's Embassy in Qatar strengthens bilateral parliamentary dialogue

Peruvian Ambassador to the State of Qatar, Gonzalo Voto Bernales, held a meeting with Abdullah bin Jaber bin Mohammed Al-Labda, chairman of the Qatar–Latin America and Caribbean Friendship Group (GRULAC) at the Qatari Shura Council.

During the event, Voto Bernales expressed satisfaction over the recent appointment of Qatar's new ambassador to Peru.

Likewise, he reiterated the willingness to reactivate the Peru–Qatar Parliamentary Friendship League, harnessing this new stage to foster ties between both legislatures and strengthen mutual understanding.

In turn, the Qatari lawmaker said his recent appointment as chairman of the Qatar–Latin America and Caribbean Friendship Group, along with the designation of Qatar's new ambassador to Lima and the installation of Peru's new Congress, scheduled for July 28, creates a favorable context to invigorate the bilateral parliamentary agenda.
