The Government of Peru will not let its guard down and will continue to persevere in the fight against the COVID-19 pandemic nationwide, President Martin Vizcarra affirmed on Tuesday.
Likewise, the statesman recognized the efforts undertaken by the medical, healthcare and administrative personnel who work in said State-run medical center. Currently, they total 800 health servers.
The Peruvian leader said that this hospital has 60 mechanical
ventilators and relies on a capacity to serve 400 COVID-19 patients, adding that it represents the State's efforts to combat the new coronavirus.
The President was joined by Health Minister Victor Zamora on this occasion.
Tuesday marks the eighty-sixth day of mandatory social isolation in Peru.
