The President of the Republic Dina Boluarte participated in the ceremony marking the presentation of credential letters from the ambassadors of Panama, Pakistan, and Cyprus.

The first envoy to present his credentials was the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Panama to Peru, Dante Renzo Pescetto Foppiano.

Next, the concurrent Ambassador of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan to Peru, Hassan Afzal Khan —a career diplomat— did the same.

Afterwards, the concurrent Ambassador of the Republic of Cyprus, Stylianos Georgiades, presented the documents accrediting him as representative of his country before the Peruvian Government.

Foreign Affairs Minister Elmer Schialer also took part in the event. Following the protocol ceremony, the president, the Cabinet member, and the ambassadors posed for the official photo.

The envoys received the honors due to them as they left the Executive Branch headquarters.

This event was held at the Government Palace in Lima on Wednesday.
