The President of the Republic Dina Boluarte on Saturday morning participated in the ceremony for the implementation of the campaigns "Perú Limpio - Chuya Chuya Perú" (Clean Peru - Clean Peru) and "Gran Cruzada Verde" (Great Green Crusade) Manchay 2023.

Held in Lima's Pachacamac district, said activity has the purpose of reforesting this zone of the capital city.

"We are here with a commitment to our environment; that means, to plant a little tree every day so that we can give our land back the life that daily deforestation takes away from us. Today, we are accompanying the Environment Minister (Albina Ruiz) to replant new trees to give new life to our planet," she expressed.

In this sense, the Head of State indicated the Government has a highly responsible approach and avoids provocations.

"From the Government, we are here firm as we have been every month of the political crisis, defending democracy, institutionality, giving tranquility and peace to the country. Enough of confrontation, enough of continuing to send people to confront (one another). We want to work in peace," she affirmed.

Furthermore, the top official urged the population of this area not to dispose of solid waste in a disorderly manner, but to give it proper treatment.

Later, President Boluarte said Peru experienced very sad political moments during the political crisis, which was triggered by the coup attempted by ex-President Pedro Castillo.

"We have to bring health and education (services) closer to the population. We are not going to stop because of provocations from those that Pedro Castillo commands," she added.
