Peruvian President Pedro Pablo Kuczynski's upcoming visit to Argentina will allow both countries to reactivate bilateral trade, foreign affairs analyst Juan Velit affirmed.
"We need to reactivate our foreign trade and balance with Argentina, which have been frozen in recent years. I think we need to provide them with a much more dynamic dimension, and President Kuczynski's work visit will do that," Velit told Andina news agency.
In this sense, the expert underscored the role of trips, as most of them are driven by "an integrationist spirit."
Velit also noted Mr. Kuczynski's participation in the 18th edition of the Iberoamerican Forum during his stay in Buenos Aires would be an excellent opportunity to showcase the Andean nation's major economic activity.
"This is a good time for the economy, for Peru to go out to sell its products and look for foreign investors. Let us not limit ourselves to the usual investors […]."
"That's why it is good [for the country] to go knocking on Argentina's and the forum's doors," he added.
President Kuczynski will pay an
official visit to Argentina on November 2-4 in order to consolidate political dialogue, bilateral trade, economic relations and cooperation.
