Peru: President Boluarte expresses condolences over murder of Indonesian diplomat

The President of the Republic, Dina Boluarte, conveyed the condolences of the Government, the Peruvian people, and her own to Indonesian President Prabowo Subianto over the murder of his country's diplomat in Peru.

In her message, the Head of State assured her counterpart that the necessary measures will be taken to capture those responsible for this criminal act in order to achieve justice.

This information was released by the Presidential Office via X on Wednesday.

Zetro Leonardo Purba, an official of the Embassy of the Republic of Indonesia in Peru, was shot on Monday night while walking along a street in Lima's Lince district.

The diplomat had arrived in Peru five months ago with his two children, with whom he lived in an apartment in the aforementioned area.
