Peru: President and State ministers assess state of emergency update

The President of the Republic, Jose Jeri, currently leads a new Council of Ministers session.

At this event, the update of the state of emergency in Lima and Callao is being assessed to strengthen the government’s work in favor of citizen security.

The Executive Branch decreed a 30-day state of emergency in Metropolitan Lima and Callao region.

The measure has been in effect since the start of Wednesday, October 22.
