Peru President addresses the nation on coronavirus

President Martin Vizcarra currently addresses the Nation about the measures implemented by his administration and the state of coronavirus in Peru.

Remarks are made in a televised press conference, within the framework of a mandatory social isolation imposed to prevent the COVID-19 from further spreading in the South American country.

Initially set to last from March 16 to 30, the measure was extended thru May 10.

On this occasion, the President is joined by some members of the Council of Ministers. The event is held at the command post of the Peruvian Air Force in Lima.

Tuesday marks the fifty-first day of mandatory social isolation.
