On World Art Day, the Presidency of the Republic reaffirmed its commitment to continue promoting diverse artistic expressions across every region of the country.

"Art is not only talent; it is a key tool for building a more inclusive society that takes pride in its identity," the institution said in a message posted on X.

Every year, on April 15, World Art Day is observed to strengthen the links between artistic creation and society, raise awareness of artistic expressions’ diversity, and highlight the contribution of artists to sustainable development.

This date serves as an opportunity to underscore the importance of arts education in schools, as culture is a pathway toward inclusive and equitable education.

World Art Day was proclaimed during the 40th session of UNESCO's General Conference in 2019.
