Over 100,000 people attended the 18th BALP Lima 2026 Air Show held last weekend at Las Palmas Air Base in Lima. The event brought the operational capabilities of the Peruvian Air Force (FAP) closer to citizens.

The show was consolidated as a space for integration where entire families learned firsthand about the work carried out by the institution in service of the country.

During the event, the FAP staged various aerial demonstrations showcasing its level of training and operational response, including aerobatic flights, aircraft exhibitions, and simulations of real missions.

These activities helped display, in an educational and dynamic way, the skills of military personnel in different scenarios.

One of the most representative moments was the military parachuting and search-and-rescue demonstration, reflecting the readiness of personnel in emergency situations.

These exhibitions not only generated great excitement among attendees, but also contributed to highlighting the FAP's strategic role in defense and support for the population.

Likewise, the public had access to an exhibition of specialized equipment used in air and rescue operations, allowing visitors to better understand the complexity and precision of the institution's work.

Through this type of activity, Defense Ministry reaffirmed its commitment to strengthening ties with the population, promoting aerospace culture, and showcasing its operational capabilities.
